After losing loved ones, I discovered the life-changing impact of prioritizing mental and physical wellbeing. Now, I'm dedicated to empowering you to take control of your health, one mindful step at a time.

My broad knowledge of both wellness trends and behavior change science have contributed to my keen ability to create relatable that speaks local communities, wellness enthusiasts, and elite athletes. For over a decade, I've leveraged digital content organically building engaged community of over 150k followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Strava. My running and strength training expertise has been featured in Hyperice, SHAPE, Runner’s World, well + good, ESSENCE, and SELF.

As former Division I volleyball player (Go Lady Vols!) with a passion for people, I created a community movement challenge, 100MilesofSummer, that empowers over 260k walkers, joggers, runners, and rollers worldwide to log 100 miles from May 1st to August 31st for better health and healthier communities. Our mission is to not only get more people moving but instill confidence, diversify start lines, and create opportunities for Black women in sport.

Here's the story of how I arrived to
where I am today

2008-2011

I earned 3x All-SEC, Academic, and All-American honors while also earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Master's Degree in Sport Psychology & Motor Behavior.

2012-2013

In my single season playing overseas with LP Kangasala, I was named match and tournament MVP throughout the season but my greatest achievement was bouncing back one full-year ACL reconstructive surgery.

2013-2015

As a playing coach and head operations, I played an integral role in the on-court and off-court development of our athletes. It is here where I learned the importance of investing in athletes beyond the lights. 

Played college volleyball at the University of Tennessee

Played pro volleyball overseas for LP Kangsala

Named assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati

2017

Chicago shaped me into the woman I am today; introducing me to the power of connected communities, the need for accessible resources, and the impact of a collective mission.

Moved to Chicago and started exploring social fitness 

2018

100MilesofSummer was birthed to inspire myself and others to explore inner and outer landscapes. In it's 7th year, over 260k walkers, joggers, runners, and wheelers took on the challenge collectively covering over 77,000 miles.

2022-today

At the core of the many hats I wear is the my passion to empower people through education and [simple, consistent] action. My running and strength training expertise has been featured in Hyperice, the Chicago Tribune, SHAPE, Runner’s World, well + good, ESSENCE, and SELF.
